The Opportunity

Pay10 is building a next-generation, cloud-native fintech platform designed for scale, security, and regulatory compliance. We are looking for a Lead DevSecOps & Cloud to own the cloud infrastructure and DevSecOps strategy for a mission-critical payments platform operating in a regulated environment.

This role goes beyond traditional DevOps. You will define how infrastructure, security, and automation work together to support rapid delivery while meeting the highest standards of availability, data protection, and compliance.

What You Will Own

• End-to-end cloud and DevSecOps architecture for a high-availability fintech platform
• CI/CD strategy enabling frequent, reliable, and secure deployments
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards across environments
• Secure connectivity with banks, payment networks, and external financial partners
• Data residency, security, and compliance controls aligned with regulatory requirements
• Platform reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure

• Design, deploy, and operate secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Define network architecture including VPCs, private connectivity, and secure access controls
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and fault tolerance across all environments

DevSecOps & Automation

• Architect and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, security scanning, and deployment
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Embed security controls into the delivery pipeline following DevSecOps best practices
• Enable blue/green or canary deployments to minimize production risk

Security & Compliance

• Design cloud security architecture including IAM, encryption, secrets management, and network protection
• Ensure compliance with fintech and payments security standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, local regulatory requirements)
• Support internal and external security audits and remediation activities
• Lead technical incident response and post-incident reviews

Reliability, Performance & Cost

• Define auto-scaling and performance strategies to handle peak transaction and batch workloads
• Optimize cloud costs through architectural design, rightsizing, and automation
• Monitor platform health, availability, and SLAs

Databases & Data Platforms

• Architect and support highly available database platforms (relational and NoSQL)
• Define backup, recovery, and data protection strategies
• Collaborate with engineering teams on performance tuning and scalability

Leadership & Collaboration

• Act as a technical leader and mentor for DevOps, SRE, and platform engineers
• Work closely with engineering, security, and product teams to align infrastructure with business goals
• Communicate architectural decisions, risks, and trade-offs to senior stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Expertise

• 10+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure roles
• 5+ years in a lead or architect-level role
• Proven experience building financial-grade platforms in fintech, payments, or digital banking
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, EKS, Lambda)
• Deep knowledge of cloud networking, secure connectivity, and hybrid environments

DevSecOps & Tooling

• Strong experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
• CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
• Containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
• Scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or Go

Security & Compliance

• Strong understanding of cloud security, encryption, IAM, and secrets management
• Experience working in regulated environments with compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, GDPR

Databases

• Experience architecting and operating MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB clusters
• Familiarity with replication, high availability, and backup strategies

Certifications (Highly Preferred)

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
• AWS Certified Security – Specialty or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
