Job Summary:
The IT Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering major IT projects by coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines and risks, and ensuring projects are completed within scope, budget, and quality standards. The role aligns technology initiatives with business objectives and drives successful outcomes across complex environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of major IT projects, including system implementations, digital transformations, upgrades, and integrations
- Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, business units, vendors, and external partners
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and realistic timelines in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk management frameworks
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure adherence to agreed timelines
- Facilitate governance forums, project meetings, and executive-level reporting
- Manage change requests and ensure proper impact analysis and approvals
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, security, and organizational policies
- Oversee testing, UAT, deployment, and transition to operations
- Drive continuous improvement through post-project reviews and lessons learned
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.
- 10 - 12 years of experience managing large-scale IT projects
- Proven experience working with cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong expertise in project planning, timeline management, and risk mitigation
- Experience with SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps)
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
