We have an urgent requirement for Network Engineer (Implementation + Support) is required for our banking client in Abu Dhabi, UAE

Network Engineer with strong hands-on experience in network security, routing & switching, and wireless is must

Are you CCNP (Enterprise / Security / Data Center) / HCIP / JNCIA / JNCIS / JNCIP certified (Either one) is MUST

Role Summary

  • Network Engineer with strong hands-on experience in network security, routing & switching, and wireless. Exposure to Cisco ACI, Cisco SD-Access (SDA), SD-WAN, Juniper Apstra, Huawei iMaster, NAC, and cloud/hybrid networking is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Network & Security (Core)
  • Implement, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls in enterprise environments.
  • Deliver firewall functions: policies, NAT, IPSec/SSL VPN, HA, routing, and hardening.
  • Configure R&S: VLANs, trunking, STP, LACP/EtherChannel, HSRP/VRRP, and OSPF/BGP (as required).
  • Execute cutovers, migrations, upgrades, backups/restores, and post-change validation.
  • Firewall Platforms (Mandatory – at least one)
  • Fortinet FortiGate (policy/NAT/VPN/UTM/HA/upgrades/backups)
  • Palo Alto PAN-OS (policy/NAT/App-ID/User-ID basics/VPN/security profiles/HA/operations) Cisco Secure Firewall (FTD) with FMC (ACP/NAT/VPN/HA/logging/troubleshooting)
  • Common expectations: rule optimization & segmentation, VPN (S2S + remote), HA failover testing, monitoring/logging, upgrades, backup/restore, basic AAA/RADIUS/AD integration.
  • Wireless
  • Implement and support enterprise Wi-Fi: controller/AP provisioning, SSIDs, authentication, roaming, RF tuning.
  • Wireless site survey/reporting (e.g., Ekahau) is a plus.
  • Modern Networking / SDN

Support Deployments/exposure To

  • Cisco ACI (tenant/VRF/BD/EPG basics, fabric operations)
  • Cisco SDA (controller-based campus & segmentation concepts)
  • Juniper Apstra (intent-based DC fabric operations)
  • Huawei iMaster / iMaster NCE (management/orchestration exposure)
  • SD-WAN
  • Support/implement SD-WAN: site onboarding, overlays/underlays, templates, app-aware routing, DIA breakout, QoS.
  • NAC
  • Assist with NAC: 802.1X, MAB, profiling, guest/BYOD, AAA/RADIUS/AD integration.
  • Exposure to Cisco ISE / Aruba ClearPass / FortiNAC is preferred.
  • Cloud / Hybrid Networking
  • Support hybrid connectivity: site-to-cloud VPN, routing and segmentation/security controls.
  • Working knowledge of VPC/VNet, subnets, route tables, security groups/NACLs is a plus.
  • Documentation & Stakeholder Handling
  • Produce as-built documentation, configurations, test reports, and handover packs.
  • Coordinate with OEM TAC and collaborate with PM/Pre-sales/Tech leads.

Required Skills (Must-Have)

  • 3–5 years hands-on delivery/support for Network + Security + Wireless.
  • Strong L2/L3 troubleshooting, RCA, and customer communication.
  • Ability to execute from HLD/LLD, follow change control, and deliver within project timelines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications/Communications Engineering, or a related field.

Certifications Preferred (any)

  • Cisco: CCNP (Enterprise / Security / Data Center)
  • Huawei: HCIP
  • Juniper: JNCIA / JNCIS / JNCIP
  • Added Advantage:
  • Fortinet: NSE 4 / 7
  • Palo Alto: PCNSA / PCNSE
  • Exposure to ACI/SDA/Apstra/iMaster, SD-WAN, NAC, and basic automation (Ansible / Python / APIs).
