Junior React Engineer

A well-established technology organization is seeking a React Engineer to join a collaborative UI framework team. This role is well-suited for an early-career engineer with a solid foundation in front-end development who’s looking to deepen their skills while working closely with experienced engineers and designers.

The team focuses on building a shared design system used across multiple products, with an emphasis on clean code, accessibility, and thoughtful UX. This is an environment that values collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain reusable React components for a shared design system
• Translate Figma designs into accessible, semantic, and maintainable UI
• Collaborate with designers, product partners, and fellow engineers
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies
• Contribute to front-end tooling, build systems, and CI/CD pipelines
• Grow expertise in modern front-end patterns, performance, and security best practices

What They’re Looking For

• A solid foundational understanding of React and modern JavaScript
• Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and TypeScript
• Experience using Git, Node.js, npm, and common front-end tools
• Familiarity with Agile development and collaborative team workflows
• Clear communication skills and a willingness to learn and take feedback

Nice to have: experience with Jest, TailwindCSS, Webpack, or state management libraries
