Senior .NET Developer

Location: Saint Paul, MN - Hybrid (On-site at least 2 days/week)

Project Overview

The client is seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer to design, develop, and deploy complex .NET applications and services. This role involves working on enterprise-level solutions, integrating with cloud services, and ensuring performance, scalability, and security. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy complex .NET applications and services.
• Build Azure App Services, Function Apps, and implement ORM technologies.
• Architect applications using Clean Architecture and Domain-Driven Design principles.
• Design applications with relational databases, caching, and enterprise-scale data management.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor team members.
• Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, and product owners to define technical requirements.
• Integrate .NET applications with third-party APIs, databases, and cloud services.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve high-priority production and development issues.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
• Work in an Agile development environment.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term technical planning.
• Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of application development using .NET framework and Microsoft technologies.
• 7+ years combined experience with front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
• 7+ years combined experience with frameworks: Angular, React, or Blazor.
• 3+ years’ experience developing applications in Azure Cloud and deploying code using CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience in hybrid telework/office environments.
• Expertise in SQL Server, Entity Framework, and performance analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Proven track record managing multiple workstreams in large-scale enterprise projects.
• Hands-on experience with API design, microservices architecture, distributed systems, and Azure Application Performance Monitoring.
• 7+ years writing automated unit tests.
• 3+ years designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• 3+ years database design and development using SQL Server or Azure SQL.
