We're seeking a talented, digital-first UI/UX Designer to join a dynamic marketing team at a leading pharmaceutical company.
This role focuses on creating modern, engaging digital experiences across multiple channels, including emails, websites, web banners, social media, mobile apps, and interactive sales aids (ISAs).
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly efficient, an excellent communicator, and passionate about continuous learning. You'll thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your designs incorporate current trends, modern design patterns, and best UX/UI practices to deliver intuitive solutions.
Location: Fully Remote (must be available to work PST hours / Pacific Time zone, regardless of candidate's location)
Duration: Long-term contract through January 2027 (with strong potential for extension)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop responsive layouts that adapt seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Create clean, modern, and minimal designs for various digital mediums (emails, websites, social, mobile apps, interactive sales aids).
- Utilize Figma as the primary tool for variables, responsive layouts, prototyping, and interactive deliverables.
- Occasionally use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, InDesign) for digital assets and supporting work.
- Apply UI/UX best practices to solve problems and enhance user experiences.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members to deliver high-quality, on-time designs.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience working in an advertising agency, branding, or marketing agency environment (strong portfolio can offset slightly lower years).
- Strong proficiency in Figma (must-have primary tool) – including variables, responsive layouts, and prototyping.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (especially XD, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles and UX/UI best practices across multiple mediums.
A professional portfolio (required) showcasing:
- Clean, modern, minimal aesthetic
- Desktop, mobile, and tablet layouts demonstrating cross-device adaptability
- Digital projects (e.g., emails, websites, banners, apps, interactive elements)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or regulated industry.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
- Proven ability to build clickable prototypes in Figma.
- Motion graphics, animation, or interactive design experience.
- Portfolio with standout, trend-aware designs that emphasize minimalism and modernity.
What We Offer:
- Fully remote work with flexibility (typically ~40 hours/week, though initial weeks may trend lighter at 20-30 hours as the project ramps up).
- Opportunity to work on impactful digital marketing initiatives in a leading pharma organization.
- 1-round "one and done" interview process for quick decisions.
- Long-term engagement with high likelihood of extension.
