Headquarters of the Nearshore IT center, Alter Solutions Portugal has a dedicated team of around 30 specialized professionals, integrated into projects with several internationally renowned clients.

Job Description

  • Develop and Maintain User Interfaces: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable TypeScript code to create user interfaces for web applications.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to create high-quality products and features.
  • Testing and Debugging: Write and execute unit tests for frontend code and identify and fix bugs or performance issues.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in frontend development.
  • Proven experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.
  • 3+ years of experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React.js

Additional Information

Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
  • Solid understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Proficiency in building responsive layouts and web standards.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
  • Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
