Position Summary
Level: Consultant or equivalent
As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. On a need basis, you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members and liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.

Our offerings include engineered transformation services for hybrid cloud infrastructure and platforms, prioritizing resiliency, optimization, and extensive automation. We integrate advanced connectivity with AI infrastructure and enterprise networks to boost operational efficiency and enable real-time data processing. Additionally, we provide comprehensive management of all facets of operations for hybrid cloud infrastructure and field operations.

Position Summary

Work you’ll do:
- Apply industry knowledge to requirements gathering and analysis, ensuring alignment with sector needs.
- Demonstrate expertise across the entire software development lifecycle, from design and coding to deployment and defect resolution, collaborating with stakeholders for effective delivery.
- Conduct peer and team reviews to maintain quality standards.
- Actively engage in Agile practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and effort estimation.
- Build and share business process knowledge, supporting project knowledge management and team training.
- Proactively recommend process improvements, track efficiency gains, and contribute to automation and innovation, all aimed at enhancing project outcomes and delivering greater value to clients.
- Build and operate the client infrastructure.
- Develop understanding of and implement shared responsibility model (On premises, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Implementation of ITIL Framework (Incidents, Changes, Requests, etc.).
- Analyze requirements from Architect, SME, Client, Application team, etc.
- Work on monitoring, backup, patching, vulnerability remediation.
- Monitor the client infrastructure.
- Identity and access management.
- Identify, analyze, and automate routine tasks.
- Develop understanding of SLA, SLO, SOW, etc.
- Coordinate with multiple teams to serve requests or resolve incidents.
- Implementation of high availability, update management, disaster recovery, backup and restore.
- Documentation, weekly/bi-weekly deck preparation, KB article updates.
- Train and knowledge transfer to junior resources.
- Handover and on-call support during weekends on a rotational basis.

Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience having managed an enterprise network spread across continents, with troubleshooting experience in LAN, WAN, Wireless, SDN, and Security.
- Experience working with routers, switches, wireless LAN controllers, access points (Add-on: F5LTM, Cisco ISE, and network management of APC UPS devices).
- Experience in network administration, troubleshooting, implementation (add-on: planning, designing, and architecture).
- Good knowledge of Core, Distribution, Access, and Edge network layers.
- Technical certifications (Cisco, ITIL, etc.).
- Experience in performing IOS upgrades, L3/L2 VLAN configuration, complete configuration of switches and routers from scratch, working with on-site engineers to console any network device.
- Basic knowledge of MPLS configuration.
- Hands-on experience with ticketing tools, specifically ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes: Incident, Problem, Change, Task Management.
- Working knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP and most LAN protocols.
- Experience with WAN technologies: MPLS, DMVPN, GRE, IPSec Tunnels, SD-WAN.
- Experience with protocols: NTP, SNMP, Syslog, 802.11, 802.1x, AAA, ACL, NAT, TACACS, RADIUS, PortSecurity, Port mirroring.
- Exposure to enterprise composite network models: datacenter architecture, branch or remote office architecture.
- Troubleshooting experience with network performance: QoS, bandwidth policing, traffic shaping, latency, jitter, bandwidth utilization.
- Experience managing monitoring tools, netflow/bandwidth analyzation tools (add-on: Cisco Prime Infra, Nagios, OpManager, SolarWinds Orion).
- Experience administering DHCP and DNS services (Windows or Infoblox), SFTP/TFTP.
- Experience with tools: Wireshark, Debugging, EEM, Python, Automation, Cisco ACI, SD-WAN (Viptela, Velocloud, or similar), SASE technologies.
- Technical training completed (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Cisco Wireless).
- Troubleshooting wireless issues: WLC code upgrades, AP join issues, client association issues, authentication issues, guest wireless issues.
- Operational troubleshooting of ISE regarding supplicants and related error understanding.
- Experience working with ISPs to troubleshoot link down, slowness, link flapping, and activating new circuits.
- Experience with network monitoring tools.
- Associate/Professional level certification on CCNA or CCNP.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt and apply innovation to varied business domains and apply technical solutions and learnings across business domains and industries.
- Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools.
- Understanding of application and other infrastructure monitoring tools.
- Understanding of end-to-end infrastructure landscape.
- Experience on virtualization platforms.
- BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university.
