We’re looking for a Frontend Developer to build, maintain, and optimise web applications that power high-traffic digital platforms used by millions of customers. These applications play a critical role in delivering seamless, accessible, and high-quality user experiences across multiple digital channels.
In this role, you’ll contribute to meaningful, long-term initiatives that help shape how people interact with essential services every day. The work is impactful, technically challenging, and offers the opportunity to make a real difference at scale.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance modern front-end web applications, while contributing to full stack solutions to ensure seamless integration between UI and server-side logic.
- Collaborate closely with designers and backend engineers to deliver responsive, accessible, and high-performance user experiences.
- Create, modify, and enhance source code, ensuring maintainability and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews to uphold high quality standards and engineering best practices.
- Contribute to performance optimisation, reliability, and continuous improvement of web platforms.
- Proven experience building responsive, user-friendly, and maintainable web applications in a full stack or frontend-focused role.
- Strong proficiency in React, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js and server-side frameworks
- Solid understanding of web performance optimisation and responsive design principles.
- Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Strong knowledge of web security best practices, including SSL, OAuth/OIDC authentication.
- Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS and serverless architectures.
