We’re on the lookout for a motivated Junior Front-end/Web Developer to join our fast-paced, innovation-driven team at Hismile HQ. This entry-level position is perfect for recent graduates looking to launch their career in web development. You’ll gain hands-on experience working across multiple areas of the business and build a strong foundation in how a high-growth, global company runs on data.
The role has a rapid growth trajectory for the right candidate. A strong appetite to continue learning new technologies will see you quickly move beyond front-end coding and into full stack development, including data pipelines & engineering, application of AI technologies, and development of enterprise applications to help our business expand.
From building email and web assets to supporting e-commerce shopfront updates, your work will directly impact how our business performs.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in building assets and solutions for our email campaigns and e-commerce shopfronts
- Build and iterate on features while contributing to the development and testing of our new codebase, focusing on understanding the “how” and “why” behind technical decisions.
- Collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams to turn designs and ideas into website functionality.
- Staying flexible and iterating quickly on features once deployed as we react to new data and changes in business needs.
- Continuously learn and implement best practices across Shopify and our tech stack, reflecting on your own code to see where it can be improved and open to sharing those learnings with the rest of the team.
- Bring energy, curiosity, and the drive to get things done, fast
- Strong working knowledge of Javascript and front-end technologies
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- A willingness to self-learn and grow your technical skills
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
- Confidence to pitch new ideas and solutions
- Experience with (any of) Javascript, Vue, SQL, Python, Go, or linux is highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, IT, or a related field.
- Internship or project experience in a web development role highly desirable
- Knowledge of the social care industry is a plus (but not required)
