We’re seeking a Business Analyst – Business Technology to join our Safety team and contribute to challenging, high-impact initiatives that make a real difference. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects that enhance safety and operational excellence across the organisation.

About The Role

As a Senior Business Technology Business Analyst, you will provide specialised advice and analysis to address operational and functional challenges. Acting as a key interface between technology and business stakeholders, you’ll design, develop, and implement solutions that meet business needs. You may work across multiple work streams and will be responsible for scoping and mapping integration with other business systems.

Key Responsibilities Of This Role Will Include

  • Deliver technology projects in line with agreed frameworks, ensuring end-to-end ownership and hands-on technical implementation of solutions.
  • Perform system maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements to ensure optimal performance and compliance of safety technology applications.
  • Provide ongoing technical support for implemented solutions, including troubleshooting and resolving issues in collaboration with service providers and managed services.
  • Gather and document technical requirements and specifications from business units, including high-level and detailed requirements for SaaS applications, tools, and systems.
  • Analyse and identify root causes of escalated incidents and problems, ensuring timely resolution to customer satisfaction.
  • Consult with business stakeholders to understand IT inputs required to achieve objectives and contribute to IT strategic plans and roadmaps.
  • Conduct complex business process analysis and develop effective solutions.
  • Build strong relationships to drive business benefits and support change initiatives.
  • Plan and manage implementation activities, including change management and user adoption.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure updates are communicated effectively.
  • Ensure full compliance with established service standards, cyber security protocols, and Group management system policies.
  • Perform daily operational tasks including system health checks, monitoring integrations, managing user access requests, and coordinating periodic system maintenance activities.
  • Establish, refine, and consistently follow developer checklists to ensure high-quality code and support long-term application maintainability.
  • Proactively engage with external vendors to drive effective collaboration and ensure successful delivery of services

You Will Bring

  • Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in relevant IT area
  • Demonstrated Business Analysis skills and experience in a large and complex organisation
  • Proven experience with relevant technologies, methods and standards
  • Strong technical documentation skills and ability to translate requirements and specifications effectively
  • Excellent written and oral communication skill

Highly Regarded Experience For This Role

  • Have worked with Safety related SaaS Product such as Intelex, Solve Injury, HSI, Bowtie XP
  • Experience with the Microsoft Power platform including Power BI, Power Automate and PowerApps
