Website Developer (Freelance)

This role focuses on enhancing a WordPress website for a driveway cleaning service by redesigning the 'Get a Free Quote' section, integrating advanced tracking, and optimizing for local SEO. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WordPress development, form integration, and local search optimization. The project requires a detail-oriented approach to ensure all user touchpoints are visually appealing, functional, and optimized for conversions.

Deliverables

• Redesign the 'Get a Free Quote' section to closely match the style and user experience of the reference site provided.
• Integrate Contact Form 7 and Bookly booking plugin with Google Analytics 4 to enable accurate tracking of quote requests and bookings for driveway cleaning services.
• Set up Google My Business (GMB) to facilitate quote requests and bookings directly through the website, ensuring seamless integration with Contact Form 7 and Bookly.
• Conduct a comprehensive local SEO audit to identify and address gaps not covered by the current SEO provider, including page titles, meta descriptions, local keyword optimization, on-page content structure (H1–H3, internal linking), and schema/local business signals.
• Ensure all website modifications are responsive and maintain a high standard of usability across devices.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience with WordPress, including customization of Contact Form 7 and Bookly booking plugin.
• Strong understanding of Google Analytics 4 setup and event tracking for form submissions and bookings.
• Demonstrated expertise in local SEO best practices, including schema markup, on-page optimization, and local business signals.
• Ability to replicate design elements from reference websites while maintaining brand consistency.
• Familiarity with Google My Business setup and integration with WordPress.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to deliver within tight deadlines.
