Freelance Application Developer (Remote)

This is an opportunity for an experienced React Native developer to rebuild and scale a live Provider platform’s mobile application. The role involves developing a new Provider app from the ground up, leveraging existing backend APIs and collaborating with a team that manages multiple applications across iOS, Android, and web. The initial contract is for two months, with a strong likelihood of extension based on performance and project needs. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering robust, maintainable code and is motivated to contribute to a rapidly growing platform with a real user base. This is a fully remote position, offering the chance to make a significant impact as the platform expands.

Deliverables

• Architect and develop a new Provider mobile app using React Native
• Integrate with existing backend APIs to ensure seamless data flow and functionality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on requirements and deliverables
• Ensure the application is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to deliver a stable production release
• Provide technical documentation and support for ongoing maintenance

Requirements

• Proven experience building and deploying React Native applications in production environments
• Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, state management, and API integration
• Familiarity with Swift (iOS), Java (Android), and Angular (web) is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Experience working with backend APIs and troubleshooting integration issues
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
• Strong sense of ownership, reliability, and accountability in delivering high-quality work
