Hays is partnering with a leading bank to find an analytical driven Data Analyst, across a Remediation area.
As a Data Analyst, you’ll be part of a dedicated squad responsible for creating estimations for remediation projects—critical work that will be submitted to ASIC. You’ll work with large datasets using Teradata SQL and provide insights that drive better business decisions. This role combines technical expertise with stakeholder engagement to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant outcomes.
What you’ll do:
- Own and deliver data-driven remediation projects end-to-end
- Create and validate remediation estimations for regulatory submission
- Investigate anomalies and queries for timely resolution
- Build strong stakeholder relationships
- Present insights using data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI)
What we’re looking for:
- Strong Teradata SQL skills (3–5 years intermediate to advanced experience)
- Experience in data and analytics with large datasets
- Knowledge of reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Ideally, experience in remediation or financial services
The role offers a 6-month contract with a potential to extend and a day rate of $550 + super per day. The role is based in Sydney and offers a hybrid working environment (50% in the office).
