Join Fidelis Security as a Software Engineer Agent, where you will play a crucial role in developing state-of-the-art software applications. In this role, you will collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to design, implement, and maintain software and cybersecurity solutions that enhance our operational efficiency and improve the overall client experience. The Software Engineering Team conducts and participates in the research, design and development of product software, software applications and/or tools for Fidelis customers. Responsibilities also include enhancements, modifications and corrections to existing software.
This role focuses on building and optimizing client applications on operating systems with a strong emphasis on high availability, scalability, and performance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in C or C++ development, preferably experience with code that is cross compliable between platforms.
Requirements
Candidates must have experience in the development of software products:
- Expert knowledge of Windows, Linux, and OSX including low level system knowledge
- Experience with C/C++ cross platform development
- Understanding of network communications and cryptography
- Standard Template Library C17 and BOOST libraries knowledge
- Shell Scripting
- Requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- BSCS (or equivalent) is required
- Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
- Expert in various debugging environments with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues spanning multiple subsystems
- Experience with protocol analyzers
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Knowledge of ASIO patterns is preferable
- Knowledge of Golang preferable
