About Merchery

Merchery is born from the simple observation that corporate gifts and promotional products are most of the time low quality. This billion $ market is shady, and often made of products people throw away after two weeks. Our vision at Merchery is to offer beautiful, useful and carefully sourced products that people actually want. As a rapidly growing company, launched in April 2020, we are looking for new talent to contribute to this transformation.

đź’ˇ Chief Operating Officer (COO)?

Merchery has grown from zero to €12M in revenue in less than six years. Our next chapter is clear: build a €50M company without scaling the team at the same pace.

Today, Merchery operates a decentralized model, relying on a network of third-party printing and fulfillment partners across Europe. Scaling this model to €50M requires a stronger structure as well as the ability to continuously rethink how our supply chain is designed and operated. This is where you come in.

To do that, we’re looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) whose primary mission will be to transform Merchery’s organization and operations, so they can support revenue growth with maximum efficiency.

As COO, you will lead the operations team (in charge of internal tooling & processes, printing operations, fulfilment & logistics) as well as production team (in charge of procurement & after sales). You will be report directly to the founders.

Your mission in a nutshell:

  • Transform Merchery’s organization and operating model to scale from €12M to €50M in revenue.
  • Enable revenue growth while keeping headcount growth under control through efficiency, automation, and better processes.
  • Own end-to-end operations and supply chain performance, from suppliers and production to fulfillment, shipping, and after-sales.
  • Build and scale a best-in-class partner network while continuously assessing what should remain external versus what makes sense to internalize over time.
  • Constantly reduce lead times and raise the bar on customer experience across the entire value chain.

We’re looking for a sharp, pragmatic operator who loves complexity, enjoys fixing what’s broken, and can bring structure without slowing the business down.

As a COO you will:

• Own end-to-end operations and supply chain performance, from suppliers and printing to warehousing, fulfillment, shipping, and after-sales.

• Reduce operational friction and lead times by redesigning workflows, responsibilities, and execution models across the value chain.

• Be accountable for short lead times and a best-in-class customer experience.

• Lead and scale the Operations team, with a strong focus on efficiency and execution excellence:

  • Leverage modern tools and automation to reduce manual work and increase organizational efficiency.
  • Develop and scale printing capabilities able to absorb growing volumes while maintaining quality and reliability.
  • Ensure top-tier warehousing, fulfillment, shipping, and logistics performance.

• Lead the Production team, ensuring smooth and predictable order execution:

  • Manage production across our supplier network to deliver consistent quality and lead times.
  • Build a customer-obsessed after-sales process focused on speed, resolution, and satisfaction.

• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Tech leadership to align revenue ambitions with operational capacity.

• Define, monitor, and continuously improve operational KPIs to drive performance, accountability, and scalability.

• Anticipate operational bottlenecks early and proactively solve them before they impact growth.

• Support strategic initiatives such as international expansion, tooling, pricing, and organizational design.

đź‘€ Could you be the one?

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in operations, general management, strategic consulting or leadership roles (C-level, Head of Operations or similar).
  • Experience in operational environments involving physical flows (supply chain, production, warehousing, logistics, printing or manufacturing) is a strong plus.
  • Proven track record of scaling teams, processes, and operations in a fast-growing company.
  • Strong business and execution mindset, with the ability to move from strategy to action.
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional organizations.
  • Highly structured, analytical, and data-driven, with strong decision-making skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, able to align diverse teams around common goals.
  • Hands-on mentality. You’re not afraid to dive into the details when needed.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

We’d love to get to know you better! Please share a short paragraph (4 to 6 sentences) explaining why you’d be a great fit for the COO. Send your response via email to [email protected] and [email protected]
