🚀 Nexeo is looking for a DevOps Coach (Expert Level)

To support the transformation of IT ways of working, we are looking for an experienced DevOps Coach to help product development teams gain maximum autonomy in developing, testing, deploying and releasing applications.

You will play a key role in driving DevOps best practices, coaching teams end-to-end across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and continuously improving delivery performance.

Your role

As a DevOps Coach, you will:

• Coach and support product development teams in adopting DevOps and Agile best practices.
• Analyze current ways of working and help teams define and implement continuous improvement plans.
• Improve team deliverables through coaching and hands-on support on:
• Software craftsmanship
• BDD / TDD
• CI/CD
• Value Stream Mapping
• Agile Testing
• Gherkin (DSL)
• Trunk-based development
• Identify and resolve key process pain points.
• Act as a bridge between development teams and tooling teams, ensuring effective use of platforms and tools.
• Collaborate with other DevOps Coaches across squads and tribes.

Technical environment

• CI/CD & automated deployment platforms
• Code quality & security scanning tools
• Test automation, performance testing & test management tools
• Collaboration & release management tools
• Development platforms: Java, JavaScript, iOS, Android

Your profile

• Strong development background combined with proven coaching experience.
• Solid end-to-end understanding of the SDLC.
• Extensive experience working in or with Agile development teams.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Continuous build, integration & deployment systems
• Java development and build tools
• Source control (Git / SVN) and artefact repositories (Nexus)
• Automation & scripting
• Experience with Agile frameworks, impact mapping, story mapping and example mapping.
• Experience with large IT organizations is a plus.
• Knowledge of Sonar, Fortify, Docker, Kubernetes, mobile development tools is a strong plus.

Languages

• English: very good (working language)
• French and/or Dutch: strong plus
