UX Designer, Summer Job
We are looking for a Summer Trainee for user experience design with a focus on concepting to join our Product Management and Design team. You will be developing rapid prototypes and other conceptual designs to support our product development. The summer job is full-time and will start as agreed, lasting for four months, for example from May to August. The exact timing of the internship will be agreed with the selected candidate.
We are a group of business and technology-oriented professionals who welcome the opportunity to work with a summer trainee who shares our passion for great UI and UX experiences. You will be working closely with our product managers, product designers and product development teams during your internship. We expect you to be able to understand player needs and translate them to applicable designs.

The position is located at Veikkaus’ headquarters in Pohjois-Haaga, Helsinki. We work flexibly in a hybrid model. To foster collaboration and effective teamwork, we meet at the office three times a week.

- Applicable educational background or on-going studies
- Previous experience and interest in developing concepts
- Experience and interest in User Interfaces (UI) and User Experience (UX)
- Good command of the English language, as it is our working language
- Solid communications skills as the role requires a lot of interaction with teams
- Clear presentation skills as you will need to express your design ideas to stakeholders
- Interest towards real-money gaming
- Working experience with any types of digital games (on any platform)
- Gaming experience whether it’s console, desktop, mobile or tablet
- Customer experience of any real-money gaming services (including Veikkaus)
