We are seeking a Research Assistant to work on the Copernicus Climate Change Service in situ holdings contract. The postholder would work alongside other team members to undertake work on all aspects of the construction of a global database of land meteorological holdings for use by the climate research community. This may include: scripting to periodically update sources served via third parties; conversion of sources acquired; developing and deploying quality control procedures; and preparation of periodic releases and real-time updates to provide to users via the Copernicus Climate Change Service’s Data Store.
Salary
Research Assistant (level 1)(2026): €33,292 – €34,545 p.a. (1-3 points)
Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
Closing Date
23:30hrs (local Irish time) on Sunday, 25th January 2026.
