Director of Data & AI

We are looking for professionals with deep Data & AI expertise, coupled with strong industry experience who is either recognised as a leader in their field or committed to becoming one.

This role will offer the successful candidate an opportunity to lead a highly qualified team at the forefront of AI transformation.

They will be in a position to educate current and future business leaders on it's value and have the full support of our client from both a resource and investment perspective.

The successful candidate:

• Experience in delivering Analytics and AI solutions at scale in large organizations.
• Strong advisory and consulting experience in problem solving; translating business objectives and challenges into data and technology strategy and solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and secure new business opportunities in the data, analytics and AI domain.
• Excellent networking, relationship-building, and business development skills.
• A track record in leading successful pitches and proposals for data and technology programs, generating revenue and growing programs of work.
• Proven track record in leading large-scale data projects for across various industries and functions. End-to-end delivery of Advanced Analytics and AI solutions preferable.
• Experience of hands-on technical solution delivery from concept to scaled delivery.
• Proven leadership experience of managing and mentoring data and technology teams, including hiring, developing and retaining key talent.
• Experience in working across a range of technology and data platforms spanning emerging cloud solutions and existing or legacy data and enterprise systems.
• Demonstrated experience in a range of Data & AI delivery methodologies and techniques including Agile, modern data methods and design thinking.
• Experience in enterprise data management, business intelligence and reporting.
• Deep practical experience in advanced analytics including areas such as Exploratory Data Analysis, Data Mining, Predictive Modelling, Optimization.
• Extensive hands-on experience in experimentation and scale of AI systems across technologies such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP and Generative AI.
• Experience in working in large organizations and navigating stakeholders, networks and key decisions makers to get things done and deliver clear outcomes.
• Strong communications skills, with an ability to lead and facilitate problem solving sessions and to make deep technical concepts relatable and understandable to non-technical people.
• Passion and curiosity in the Data and AI field with a proven ability to stay up to speed with the latest advancements and technologies in data science and AI.
• Active participation in industry and the Data & AI ecosystem in Ireland or other countries.

• Identifying, creating and pitching new Data & AI opportunities and proposals to our clients.
• Working with our industry experts to shape Data & AI services that we bring to market.
• Leading programs with our clients to frame, shape and deliver value in their organization with data, analytics and AI.
• Leading and inspiring our technical teams and building our Data & AI capabilities.
• Evolving how our consulting business uses AI responsibly to undertake our services.
