Role: Java Developer

Location: Rome, Italy (1 day per week on-site)

Duration: 1 year + possible extension

The resource will be involved in the design, implementation and maintenance of complex software solutions, working closely with the development team and architecture figures to ensure the quality, performance and scalability of the applications.

Responsibilities:

- Analysis and development of enterprise applications based on Java technologies

- Design and implementation of application components and web services

- Maintaining, optimizing, and refactoring existing code

- Collaboration with architects and project teams to define technical solutions

- Troubleshooting, identifying and troubleshooting in production environments

- Technical support in the test, deployment and release phases

Technical skills required

- Excellent knowledge of the Java language

- Experience with Spring frameworks and Struts

- Knowledge of application servers such as WebLogic and JBoss

- Experience with SOAP and EJB Web Services

- Knowledge of relational databases, preferably Oracle

- Skills on DB2 LUW and/or MS SQL Server are also welcome

Fullstack Java

JD

The resource will be involved in the design, implementation and maintenance of scalable and integrated software solutions in containerized and cloud-ready environments.

Responsibilities:

- Development and maintenance of Java + Angular full stack applications

- Implementing microservices in Spring Boot

- Creation and integration of frontend components in Angular

- Collaboration with DevOps teams for the delivery cycle on OpenShift

- CI/CD pipeline optimization

- Technical analysis, application design and documentation drafting

- Support to teams in the testing and deployment phases

- Contribution to the improvement of processes, architectures and best practices

Technical skills required:

- Excellent knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Angular

- Knowledge of relational databases, preferably Oracle

- Good knowledge in DevOps and OpenShift
