Software Test Automation Engineer

Experis Luxembourg is looking for a Software Test Automation Engineer to join his team, in Luxembourg.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automated testing solutions for web applications and REST services
• Collaborate closely with development teams to improve functional, performance, security, and integration test coverage
• Develop and maintain robust testing frameworks using languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Ensure quality deliverables by integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools
• Work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and business analysts to guarantee product quality

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, or a related field
• At least 4 years in automated testing (SDET), with a focus on REST API and Web UI testing
• Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of software development principles, object-oriented programming, and design patterns
• Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, Playwright, PyTest)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (preferably GitLab)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong communication and collaboration with technical teams
• Attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure
• Fluent English (C1/C2 level)
