Experis Luxembourg is looking for a Software Test Automation Engineer to join his team, in Luxembourg.
Your Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated testing solutions for web applications and REST services
- Collaborate closely with development teams to improve functional, performance, security, and integration test coverage
- Develop and maintain robust testing frameworks using languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Ensure quality deliverables by integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools
- Work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and business analysts to guarantee product quality
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 4 years in automated testing (SDET), with a focus on REST API and Web UI testing
- Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Spring Boot.
- Solid understanding of software development principles, object-oriented programming, and design patterns
- Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, Playwright, PyTest)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (preferably GitLab)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication and collaboration with technical teams
- Attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure
- Fluent English (C1/C2 level)
