Our quest
We are a curious team passionate about pushing the boundaries of physics to develop groundbreaking technology that makes a real difference. Our expertise lies in acoustics, vibration, and control - sorry, no rockets.
Our mission is to establish new ways to innovate and create value with sound.
What you’ll be doing as part of our team
As a full-time AI & Signal Processing Rocket Scientist you’ll be part of a colorful crew solving
challenging problems in a thriving project and deep-tech environment. You use your creativity
and solid technical background to tackle problems and you are not afraid of taking
responsibility for any task during a typical development cycle (prototype to market-ready
product). You know how to switch from analytical to hands-on, distinguish sense from
nonsense and keep a can-do attitude at all times. In doing so, you'll have the opportunity to
shape your role and take on increasing responsibilities as you grow with Rocket Science.
What you bring to the table
- a university degree in natural sciences or engineering
- a solid background in applied signal processing, embedded systems, data analysis
- curiosity, a strong drive to learn and a passion for applying state-of-the-art algorithms
- in real-world projects with relevance
- deep experience deploying neural networks on constrained edge devices (SoCs, DSPs)
- fluent in English and preferably German
- a permit allowing you to legally work in Switzerland
What makes us think: Nice!
- if you can show a track record of solving complex problems, or problems that have not
been solved before - you are comfortable working with assumptions, uncertainties
- if you have 5 - 10 years of work experience in a field relevant to us
What you can tell your family & friends
As a AI & Signal Processing Rocket Scientist I enable robots to hear, by designing and
implementing the embedded system that goes into it. In doing so I have the chance to make a
lasting impact in the field of robotics as to date most robots are deaf! Unlike big tech where
you optimize one button, here you own the entire pipeline from the microphone physics to the
neural network inference.
How you apply
Please send your CV complete with an authentic cover letter highlighting why you are a vital contributor to our mission to [email protected] or directly via Linkedin. We only accept direct applications. Applications coming through agencies won’t be considered.
Tell us about your most exciting projects, why you're drawn to our mission and why you think your personality and skills are a match. We're eager to hear from you!
