Location: Solothurn
Engagement Type: Resource-based assignment - initial 6 months duration
For one of our clients in the Life Sciences industry, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Construction Manager to support small CAPEX engineering projects (typically around 500 kCHF). This is a resource-based engagement, not a consulting mandate or full scope of work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate small CAPEX engineering projects from initiation to close-out
- Provide day-to-day project and/or construction management support
- Coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Plan, schedule, and track project activities and deliverables
- Oversee on-site execution with focus on safety, quality, cost, and schedule
- Identify risks, propose mitigation actions, and escalate when needed
- Prepare and deliver structured progress updates (status, risks, next steps)
Profile & Qualifications
- Proven experience as Project Manager and/or Construction Manager for small CAPEX projects
- Background in pharmaceutical or biotech environments, with solid GMP knowledge
- Ability to work independently and integrate within an engineering organization
- Strong organizational and reporting skills
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with sound judgment for escalation
