Medior/Senior Full-Stack Developer - TypeScript, Next.js, NestJS, AWS - Utrecht

Ready to have your code reach millions of users across the Netherlands? Are you looking for true end-to-end ownership of a serverless AWS environment, including managing CI/CD pipelines yourself?

My client is an established Dutch media company with significant reach through high-traffic websites and apps. They are bringing development fully in-house and building a brand-new Web Experience team. You will join this new team (3 developers), help shape it from the ground up, and report to the Solution Architect Lead.

The tech stack is modern and fully TypeScript-based: Next.js for frontend and NestJS for backend. Everything runs serverless on AWS (Lambda, S3, CloudFront), with the team managing entire infrastructure and GitLab CI/CD pipelines. You will be responsible for the platform behind multiple well-known websites, working on features that have direct impact on millions of users, from live video streams to pay-per-view platforms.

Your profile:

• 3+ years of professional experience with TypeScript
• 3+ years experience with NestJS and Node.js
• 3+ years experience with frontend frameworks/libraries, preferably Next.js and React
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure also acceptable)
• Knowledge of CI/CD and automated deployments (e.g., GitLab)
• Strong communication skills, enjoys working in a team (pair programming, code reviews), and experienced in writing documentation

Benefits:

• Salary up to €80,000
• Hybrid working (50/50)
