Senior-/Lead Engineer | Permanent | Hybrid | Stockholm

For our client, a SaaS company from Stockholm, we are currently looking for a Senior-/Lead Engineer who can lead technically and be a role model to other Engineers.

Your Impact

You will be working tightly with both frontend and backend developers on the API and core functionalities, as well as building out the backbone of the platform, which is written in Ruby on Rails. You will challenge the current architecture, deploy improvements it and to the overall processes and systems. You will help coach the development team on best practices and help them grow along with the company. The goal is to have a well-tested and well-architected platform to build on for years to come and this role will have a large impact on how they can best accomplish this.

• Lead with Innovation: Design, develop, and implement improvements that will be the foundation of the platform for years to come.
• Mentor and Inspire: Guide and coach fellow developers, sharing your expertise to elevate the entire team’s skills and best practices.
• Drive Quality: Ensure that the platform is not only well-tested and stable but also ready to support ambitious growth plans.

What you need

• +5 yrs of exp. in Node.JS & TypeScript
• Exp. maintaining and improving upon large code bases
• Exp. working with / writing test suites
• Experience with Postgres and optimizing it

Nice-to-haves

• Ruby (On Rails) is a plus
• GraphQL is a plus
• AWS is a plus
• React is a plus
