What We’re Looking For

Experience

• 8–15+ years in software engineering, including senior leadership roles
• Proven experience scaling engineering organisations from Series A to Series B / C
• Strong background in backend-heavy, platform or marketplace environments
• Experience in B2C, B2B2C, or marketplace models strongly preferred
• Experience working with distributed, remote-first teams

Technical Background

• Strong technical foundation with deep backend credibility
• Comfortable discussing architecture, scalability, and system design in depth
• Experience with cloud-native platforms, microservices, APIs, and data systems
• Able to go deep technically when needed, even if not coding daily
