Location: Netherlands (must reside in NL and hold a valid work permit)
Duration: Until end of July 2026
Hours: 36 hours per week

About the Role
Are you a business-savvy data professional who thrives on turning complex data into actionable insights that drive real business decisions? As an Analytics Engineer, you will be the bridge between data engineering and data analytics/data science, playing a key role in implementing the Pay Transparency Directive.
You will design and implement scalable, reliable data solutions that enable HR and business teams to make informed decisions quickly. This is a high-impact role where you will collaborate across diverse teams and deliver tangible results.
What You Will Do
- Design and build data transformations and models for analytical purposes.
- Apply best practices in data modelling, analytics engineering, and data governance.
- Develop dashboards and reporting solutions in Power BI, including quick MVPs for fast business value.
- Act as the link between business stakeholders and IT teams, translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Document and present development progress to stakeholders.
- Support predictive analytics and machine learning initiatives where needed.
What We’re Looking For
Must-haves:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering, data modelling, and analytics engineering.
- Strong skills in SQL, Python, PySpark, and ETL/ELT processes.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI (backend and front-end).
- Familiarity with statistics and data science concepts.
- Experience with Databricks or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Certifications:
- Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300)
- Databricks Certified Data Analyst Associate (or willingness to obtain within one month).
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with the Pay Transparency Directive.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning Engineering.
- Background in HR analytics or financial domains.
- Experience in data governance and compliance frameworks.
