What you'll do

• Manage one of the Backend team and workload of the development team members,
• Recruit, train and mentor the team members and provide great yet challenging place to work for the people in your team, provide efficiency,
• Self sufficiently lead the software development lifecycle: technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring,
• Ensure open communication and motivation of team members,
• Work with business and technical stakeholders to effectively enable business growth. During solution design and development of the work package, ensure correct and consistent decisions are made,
• Lead the team to ensure correct implementation of agreed solutions, meet quality requirements, ensure on-going review of delivery plans.
• Designed, built, scaled, and maintained production services, and know how to compose a service-oriented architecture,

Who you are

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field,
• At least 10+ years of professional software engineering experience in building backend systems,
• E-commerce experience is a plus,
• Having previous experience in a development management or lead position,
• Requires strong skills in Java, Spring, Hibernate and SQL,
• Experience working in CI, CD pipelines in terms of scripting and integration with git repository, slack and jira,
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL),
• Experience in Kubernetes or Openshift internals,
• Hands on experience on Object Oriented Design & Design Patterns & Test-Driven Development,
• Understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services,
• Strong communication skills to encourage team members,
• Junit, PowerMock, Mockito test driven technologies,
• General understanding in microservices, best practices and architectural patterns in microservices architecture as Eventsourcing, SAGA, CQRS, Circuit Breaker, Api Gateway, etc. and... A team player - we succeed together but we know our individual work contributes to the bigger picture,
• Requires strong skills in Java, Java EE, JSF, Spring, Hibernate, and SQL,
• Experience with relational/non-relational Database Management Systems such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Couchbase etc,
• Preferably experienced in fault-tolerant and loosely coupled distributed architectures,
• Junit, PowerMock, Mockito test driven technologies,
• Experience in Kubernetes or Openshift, observability, monitoring, and resource optimization is a significant plus,
• Proficient in OOP, Design Patterns, Clean Code, Software Craftsmanship culture, Refactoring, Unit, and Integration Testing,
• Project or process management experience is a plus.
