Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Network Engineer at MidChains in UAE, with flexibility for remote work. The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for network administration, engineering, troubleshooting, security, and design tasks on a daily basis.

Job Responsibilities

• Network Administration, Troubleshooting, and Network Design skills
• Experience in Network Engineering and Network Security
• Proficiency in implementing and maintaining network infrastructures
• Knowledge of industry best practices and network protocols
• Oversee software security, change control and keep internal networks running smoothly
• Install server hardware and software infrastructure
• Monitor network usage and security
• Troubleshoot and restore systems after any interruption of service
• Undertake routine preventative measures and implement, maintain and monitor network security.
• Ensure systems comply with industry standards
• Interest in security and a thoughtful and thorough consideration of the security implications of development decisions
• Working with product and design to implement a high quality and elegant facade
• Ability to thrive while working independently and remotely in a team based environment
• Experience in fundamental networking concepts with deploying WAN connectivity and data center networks.
• Responsible for implementing and supporting the network infrastructure based on defined standards.
• Implement and support cloud routing platforms such as AWS CloudWan and Azure vWAN.
• Create and maintain network documentation and diagrams

Qualifications

• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
