Position Overview: 

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Digital Solutions Architect & Project Manager to lead research and development projects. In this hybrid role, you will take charge of both technical development and project management, contributing to the design, optimization, and successful delivery of our technology. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure our products remain at the cutting edge of innovation while meeting all project goals, within time and budget. 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Software Development and System Design: 

• Lead the development and implementation of complex digital AI solutions. 
• Contribute to system architecture, focusing on scalability, performance, and reliability. 
• Oversee the design and coding of new features, as well as optimization of existing components, particularly in real-time logistics applications. 
• Ensure integration with existing hardware and software solutions and manage improvements and new developments within VOCA’s hardware solutions. 

1. Project Management: 

• Manage all stages of the project lifecycle, from initial planning through execution, delivery, and post-launch support. 
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets. 
• Monitor project progress, adjusting schedules and resources as necessary to meet deadlines and quality standards. 
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external partners, providing regular updates and reports on project status. 

1. Cross-functional Collaboration: 

• Collaborate with developers, and other stakeholders to align software development efforts with business objectives. 
• Work closely with clients and operators to ensure that the solutions meet operational needs and industry regulations. 
• Facilitate project meetings, including kick-off, status reviews, and retrospectives. 

1. Risk and Quality Management: 

• Identify potential project risks and proactively create mitigation plans. 
• Execute risk assessments and follow up mitigating actions. 
• Ensure all project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, with regular audits and quality assurance checks. 

1. Leadership and Mentorship: 

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members. 
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team. 

What are we looking for? 

• MSc or higher degree in Engineering Cybernetics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 
• Proven experience in software development with a strong understanding of high-performance systems. 
• Background in C++ or similar languages with experience in real-time applications is a plus. 
• Demonstrated project management experience, with the ability to manage complex projects. 
• Experience with digitalization, AI, machine learning, and automation technologies. 
• Experience working in both Linux and Windows environments. 
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. 
• Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments with shifting priorities. 
• Early adopter of new AI workflows and tools to achieve business and project goals. 
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps for CI/CD is a plus.
