Lantern is seeking an IAM Governance Analyst to join our fast-growing team. This role is critical to ensuring the security, compliance, and operational excellence of our identity and access management program. The IAM Governance Analyst will drive policy development, risk assessment, and continuous improvement of access controls across the organization.
Location: Remote, Canada
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain IAM governance policies, standards, and procedures.
- Conduct periodic access reviews and certifications to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Collaborate with IT, Security, and Business teams to define and enforce least-privilege access models.
- Monitor and report on IAM metrics, risks, and control effectiveness.
- Support audits (SOC 1, SOC 2, HIPAA, etc.) by providing evidence and responding to inquiries related to IAM controls.
- Lead or participate in IAM-related projects, including tool implementations and process improvements.
- Stay current with industry trends, threats, and best practices in identity governance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in IAM, information security, or IT risk management.
- Familiarity with IAM tools (e.g., Saviynt, Okta, Azure AD) and governance frameworks (e.g., NIST, HiTrust, SOC2).
- Experience supporting audits and compliance initiatives.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating access risks.
- Exhibit strong collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- Show a passion for process improvement and automation.
- Act with urgency to respond to security incidents and compliance needs.
