Job Summary

We’re seeking a Mid-Level to Senior Front-End Engineer to join our growing digital team. You’ll play a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing user-facing applications that integrate seamlessly with our backend services. The ideal candidate is able to create elegant, performant, and accessible web experiences—while collaborating closely with our design team, backend engineers, and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Front-End Development: Build, maintain, and enhance dynamic, responsive interfaces using Vue 2/3 and Nuxt.js 2/3.
  • UI/UX Implementation: Translate Figma designs into clean, maintainable, and accessible HTML5/CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid) layouts.
  • Styling Systems: Implement and manage design systems using Tailwind CSS, Vuestic, and/or Vuetify.
  • State Management: Utilize Pinia for efficient and scalable state handling across components.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize apps for maximum speed, responsiveness, and maintainability across browsers and devices.
  • Collaboration & Agile Development: Work in an Agile environment using Jira for task tracking and Bitbucket for version control and code reviews.
  • Integration & Testing: Collaborate with backend developers (Laravel/PHP) to integrate APIs, test endpoints using Postman, and manage local environments with Docker.
  • Build & Tooling: Configure and maintain modern build systems using Webpack and Vite for efficient development workflows.
  • Mentorship & Leadership (Lead Level): Guide and mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and help shape best practices for the front-end team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4+ years of professional front-end development experience (6+ preferred for lead level).
  • Expertise working from Figma.
  • Expertise in Vue.js (2/3)
  • Proficiency in Nuxt.js (2/3), JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Proficiency in component libraries/frameworks such as Vuetify and Vuestic.
  • Deep understanding of CSS3/Sass, HTML5, Flexbox, and Grid.
  • Familiarity with Tailwind CSS.
  • Familiarity with Pinia.
  • Skilled with Vite.
  • Basic comfort with PHP and Laravel for front-end integration.
  • Hands-on experience using Docker for local development.
  • API testing and documentation experience using Postman.
  • Solid understanding of Git workflows, including branching, PRs, and code review best practices.
  • Proven experience working in Agile environments with Jira and Bitbucket.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This is largely a sedentary role; however, building access is limited to two sets of stairs and may require lifting or moving objects up to 30 lbs. The employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

The Pay Range For This Role Is

90,000 - 100,000 USD per year(Remote (United States))
