Software Engineer / Solutions Engineer (IAM Focus)

The Opportunity

This role is for engineers who like being close to customers and close to the code. As a Solutions Engineer focused on Identity and Access Management (IAM), you’ll help customers successfully integrate authentication, authorization, and identity workflows into their environments.

You’ll act as a technical escalation point, problem-solver, and trusted advisor — diagnosing issues, building prototypes, and collaborating with core engineering to ship durable fixes.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the technical point of escalation for customer integration and deployment issues.
• Debug authentication and identity workflows involving OAuth, OIDC, SSO, and token exchanges.
• Inspect API calls, webhook payloads, logs, and IAM configurations to isolate root causes.
• Provide hands-on solutions such as:
• Reproduce customer issues and work with engineering to drive fixes into production.
• Advise customers on best practices across IAM platforms and authentication flows.

Tech You’ll Work With

• IAM Platforms: Okta, Microsoft Entra, Duo, Auth0, Ping, and custom IAM stacks
• Auth Protocols: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM
• Languages & Tools: Go, Typescript; scripting with Python, Node.js, or Bash
• APIs: REST, Webhooks
• Systems: Cloud infrastructure, containers, databases, CI/CD pipelines

What We’re Looking For

• 2–5 years in Software Engineering / Solutions Engineering (Production ready code is a must have)
• Experience with modern development languages is a MUST (Golang ideally)
• Strong hands-on experience with IAM and authentication systems.
• Proven ability to debug complex integrations across multiple systems.
• Comfort writing lightweight scripts or prototypes to unblock customers.
• Client-facing experience with clear, empathetic communication.
• Ability to translate messy real-world problems into actionable engineering insights.
