Come join the CG-PD team as a Software Engineer 1- full stack. This groups mission is to help Intuit achieve its key outcome to “Do the Nations’ Taxes.” More specifically, this team focuses on winning the consumer tax category in US and Canada, capitalizing on done for me experiences and mobile-based solutions. We are looking for a highly motivated and creative problem solver with a passion for innovation to join our team and revolutionize the way the world does Taxes.
Responsibilities
- Successful delivery of high-quality web or mobile software (requirements, design, code, documentation, etc.)
- Roughly 80-95% hands-on coding
- Contribute to early quality activities, including peer reviews of estimates, designs and code.
- Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches.
- Partner effectively with all team members to deliver against commitments.
- Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: product management, QA/QE, various product lines, or business units to drive forward results.
- Commitment to team success and positive team dynamics
- Passion for growing and applying technical skills in service to customers.
- Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, and/or Extreme Programming methodologies
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Foundational understanding of Agile development, object-oriented design, and programming principles.
- Coursework, internships, personal projects, or academic experience with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C++, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of front-end web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and familiarity with frameworks or tools is a plus.
- Strong written, verbal, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Awareness of AI concepts and a basic understanding of capabilities like Generative AI.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new priorities, tools, and technologies in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
