We've spent the last 15 years building a tech solution that enables marketers to seamlessly collaborate with a network of over 130k professional creatives in every corner of the globe and across every creative capability - production companies, directors, editors, animators, photographers and more.

We have 8 offices across EMEA, the Americas, and APAC, and our client base includes global brands like Hilton, the BBC, Kellogg's, Procter & Gamble and L'Oréal. We also have deep partnerships with the big platforms - Google, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and Amazon.

Our brand has a strong creative heritage, first launching in the music industry, working with all of the major record labels and producing official music videos for some of the biggest names in music including The Doors, James Brown, George Harrison, Robert Plant, Damon Albarn, Duran Duran and Muse.

The role

Genero is looking for an experienced Senior UX Designer to join our product team and play a key role in shaping a world-class user experience across our enterprise creative production platform. Our team works across the platform developing and designing all aspects from onboarding new creators to empowering marketers to achieve amazing creative campaigns.

You'll help improve complex workflows used by marketing teams and creatives around the world, ensuring our interfaces are intuitive, scalable and user-centred.

  • Lead and oversee the user experience—both customer facing and internal—from research, to strategy development, concepting, product definition, and design.
  • Challenge the team to think beyond the expected, breaking away from existing design solutions and creating unique and innovative experiences that solve problems.
  • Drive measurable product outcomes – including activation, adoption, retention and conversion – by designing experiences that support customer growth and revenue.
  • Partner closely with product managers, engineers and other stakeholders to deliver successful design solutions across markets, platforms and product surfaces.
  • You will need to wear many hats bringing together data, consumer insights, and UX research for foundational guidance on product direction and new concept validation.
  • Excellent understanding of UX principles, information architecture, design systems and accessibility best practice.
  • Maintain and evolve our design system, improving component clarity, accessibility, consistency and scale across the platform.
  • Contribute to discovery processes by gathering user insights, conducting interviews and understanding user needs within enterprise marketing environments.
  • The role is primarily remote, however we value in-person collaboration and team connection, which we organise on a regular basis.

About you

  • 5-8+ years experience in UX/UI or product design roles, ideally within high-growth SaaS or scale-up environments with lean product teams. Like many of our team, you're not afraid to jump in and learn new things.
  • Strong experience designing end-to-end product experiences, with demonstrated ability to drive meaningful business impact in a high growth scale up environment, marketplace experience would be a bonus.
  • Experience making product and design decisions informed by data and analytics, market insights, and UX research findings.
  • Demonstrated expertise in user-centered design, research, product and experience strategy, including leadership over the entire design process, as demonstrated by a portfolio of case studies.
  • Confident working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams, and comfortable navigating constraints, trade-offs and iterative delivery.
  • A portfolio demonstrating problem-solving, design rationale, system thinking and measurable product impact.
  • Highly creative, with the ability to explore and communicate ideas quickly and effectively.
  • Full working rights in Australia without sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Relevant degree in field of Design or UX
  • Ability to plan, moderate, and execute a variety of goal-oriented workshops across stakeholders, leading to exciting new ideas
  • Experience with service design, or designing, aligning, and optimizing an organization's operations to better support the experiences of both the user and internal employees.
  • Experience identifying and prioritizing features, as well as participating in complex roadmap planning.
