AI Research Engineer – Brussels – 12-month contract
A market-leading client of ours based in Brussels is seeking several Research Engineers to collaborate in multimodal and large language models.
You will be working in a research driven environment with real world applications. No industry experience is needed.
There is a big emphasis on human-centric design, computational footprint and minimal latency and the goal will be to create the next-generation AI assistants.
Required skills:
- Master's or PhD in AI or other relevant field with a proven publishing record
- If PhD – publications should be A+ with list of conferences
- If Master's – research thesis and submission should be related to LLMs and Multimodal LLMs, transformers etc (not applications).
- Research experience with frontier Machine Learning models (LLMs and VLMs).
Details:
- Location: Brussels (1-2 days onsite per week).
- Duration: 12 months, with potential for extension.
- Start Date: Feb 2026
