Mission Context
Join a major European player in the energy infrastructure sector, operating at the heart of the electricity transmission network. This organization plays a critical role in ensuring a reliable, secure, and sustainable energy supply across multiple countries.
You will work in a Network Operations Center (NOC) environment that supports mission-critical communication systems used for real-time monitoring, remote operations, and security of high-voltage infrastructure.

Your Role
As a Data Transmission Network Operator, you will ensure the stability, availability, and performance of the data communication network. You’ll monitor systems, manage incidents, coordinate maintenance, and collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners.
This role suits someone who enjoys operational responsibility, technical problem-solving, and working in an environment where every minute matters.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor and ensure the proper functioning of all datacom platforms
- Analyze, resolve, and escalate network incidents when needed
- Coordinate with architects, product owners, and external partners
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders during incidents, planned works, and resolutions
- Support daily operations, planning activities, and project-related requests
- Maintain documentation and perform administrative tasks to ensure platform quality
- Contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing within the team
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, ICT, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience
- Solid operational knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, including:
- SDH
- DWDM
- IP/MPLS
- VoIP
- Experience as a Helpdesk Officer or Network Operations Engineer is a strong plus
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools
- Strong interest in continuously learning and expanding technical expertise
- Dutch or French – Fluent
- The other national language – Good working knowledge
- English – Good working knowledge
- Methodical and autonomous working style
- Strong sense of responsibility and urgency
- Analytical mindset with good risk awareness
- Clear and structured communication skills
- Flexible and stress-resistant (priorities can shift quickly)
- Team player who enjoys sharing knowledge
- Location: Brussels
- On-site presence: 2 days per week
- Contract: Full-time, long-term (Yearly contract)
