Freelance Network Engineer – Extreme Networks Specialist - long term

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Consultant with extensive expertise in Extreme Networks to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering advanced installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Extreme Networks products and solutions. You will work independently on complex projects, contribute to technical excellence, and serve as a go-to expert within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute onsite or remote projects involving Extreme Networks products, including network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Analyze customer network security and performance, providing expert advice and solutions.
• Participate in support services and documentation for customer solutions.
• Maintain and enhance technical certifications, especially in Extreme Networks technologies.
• Collaborate with colleagues and customers to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.

Skills:

• Proven expertise and advanced knowledge in Extreme Networks products and solutions.
• Strong background in network routing, switching, and security protocols.
• Experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex and large network environments.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar technical consulting role.
• Knowledge of additional vendors such as Cisco, HPE, or Juniper is a plus.
