We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software solutions together with our hardware. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our applications by reviewing requirements, executing manual testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Create comprehensive test cases, test plans, and update test documentation
  • Perform manual testing on tickets across Engineering teams
  • Report, track, and manage defects
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure stability and compatibility of the application after changes
  • Actively participate in the release process, ensuring all quality standards are met
  • Perform exploratory and ad-hoc testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues
  • Work closely with development teams to understand technical implementations and provide feedback
  • Perform on-site testing with hardware as required

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience in testing web applications with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices
  • Hands-on experience testing APIs and understanding API functionality
  • Solid understanding of backend and frontend architecture
  • Strong knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC)
  • Proficient in writing detailed test cases and test plans
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Youtrack, or similar
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
