As a Credit Risk Data Project Manager
You will drive the delivery of critical credit risk data initiatives, ensuring regulatory requirements are correctly translated into system logic, processes, and controls. You will act as a central link between business, credit risk, and IT to enable reliable, compliant, and transparent risk data.
How do you create value?
- Lead complex data projects, primarily focused on credit risk topics.
- Translate business and regulatory requirements (EBA Guidelines, IFRS 9, CRR) into technical specifications and system logic.
- Design and implement loan portfolio classification and staging processes in line with internal procedures and product structures.
- Ensure regulatory requirements are correctly implemented, tested, and controlled within credit risk systems and calculation engines.
- Act as owner of credit risk classification data, ensuring consistency, quality, and traceability across systems and reports.
- Facilitate collaboration between business, credit risk, IT, and data teams and ensure clear documentation of processes and rules.
Our expectations for you
- Bachelor’s degree required, majoring in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analysis, or Information Technology preferred.
- Solid knowledge of banking regulatory frameworks, including IFRS 9, EBA Guidelines, and CRR/CRD.
- Understanding of credit risk assessment and loan portfolio classification principles (Stage 1/2/3, PD/LGD/EAD concepts).
- Strong background in process management and optimization.
- Proficiency in working with data and systems including SQL.
- Well-developed communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills, especially across multiple functions.
- You have good verbal and written communication skills in Estonian and English.
