Our Client, an engineering design consultancy based in Macroom, County Cork are recruiting for a Revit / CAD Technician to join their technical team. The successful candidate will work across a diverse range of civil, commercial, institutional, and industrial projects and contribute to high-quality engineering design delivery within a collaborative and progressive consultancy environment. The role will involve close coordination with engineers, project managers, and external stakeholders, supporting projects from concept through to construction. This is a hybrid, permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

• Production of high-quality 2D general arrangement drawings derived from 3D Revit models and 2D CAD information
• Preparation of GA coordination drawings across multidisciplinary projects
• Development, coordination, and maintenance of BIM models and associated documentation in line with company BIM standards, protocols, and procedures
• Participation in design, coordination, and technical review meetings
• Preparation, management, and maintenance of drawing registers, including control of drawing revisions and issue status
• Liaison with clients, project managers, and internal design teams to agree project requirements, priorities, and delivery timelines

Key Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar CAD / BIM Technician role within an engineering or construction environment.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Experience using Civil 3D would be a distinct advantage.
• Full driving licence.
