My client is looking for a Data Analyst with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join their organisation based in Cork. This is a permanent role.


Responsibilities

  • Own and optimise web analytics implementations, ensuring accurate tracking of user behaviour, journeys, and conversion performance across digital platforms.


  • Analyse website and internal search data to uncover insights that improve content discoverability, self-service adoption, and overall user experience.


  • Manage and continuously enhance internal site search, using query analysis and performance metrics to improve relevance and findability.


  • Deliver clear, actionable insights through regular reporting, dashboards, and data storytelling to support digital and business decision-making.


  • Partner closely with UX, content, marketing, product, and technology teams to optimise navigation, search, and on-site journeys.


  • Drive continuous improvement through testing, experimentation, and data-led recommendations that increase engagement and reduce service demand.


Key Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with web analytics and tag management tools (e.g. GA4, GTM, Adobe Analytics, Matomo or similar).


  • Proven background in internal site search optimisation, including analysing search behaviour and tuning relevance and results.


  • Experience building and presenting dashboards and reports using data visualisation tools for both technical and non-technical audiences.


  • Solid understanding of SEO principles, content structures, and how they impact both internal and external search performance.


  • Ability to collaborate with UX/UI teams on conversion rate optimisation, testing, and journey improvements.


  • Working knowledge of web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS), data privacy standards, and modern digital analytics best practices.
