The Outokumpu Customer Portal is a B2B eCommerce and eService web site offered to Outokumpu customers in Europe. It is implemented as a modern, layered architecture, based on SAP eCommerce, a microservice layer on Azure, SAP Integration Suite and a variety of regional and global ERP order and fulfilment systems.

About the Role

As a Junior SAP Commerce Cloud & Azure Developer, you’ll play a key role in building and maintaining the Outokumpu Customer Portal — a state-of-the-art B2B eCommerce and eService platform for our European customers. Working alongside a talented team of developers, architects, and UX/UI designers, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Develop and maintain backend solutions for SAP Commerce Cloud and Azure.
• Ensure seamless integration of backend services with the customer portal.
• Collaborate on scalable, secure, and innovative backend solutions.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges and optimize performance.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:

• A relevant academic degree with 1–3 years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in SAP Commerce Cloud and Azure platforms.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, microservice architecture, and database management.
• Strong skills in Java programming.
• A team player with problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
• Bonus: Experience with SAP Integration Suite.

Location:

Position can be based in any Outokumpu location in Europe. Some travel may be required as part of project work.
