Our infrastructure team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Lead WAN to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in SD-WAN technologies and will be responsible for the design, implementation and optimization of our global network infrastructure. This role requires a strong background in network security, traffic management and automation. As a Tech Lead, you will also be responsible for guiding and mentoring other engineers, driving technical innovation and ensuring the reliability and performance of our WAN.

What You’ll Be Doing
- SD-WAN Management: To take ownership of SD-WAN management features and settings, including the development and maintenance of low-level designs.
- Security Implementation: To implement and manage security features and policies across the WAN to protect against threats and ensure compliance with industry best practices.
- WAN Traffic Optimization: To monitor and optimize WAN traffic, utilizing various products and techniques to ensure high performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Automation: To drive automation initiatives for all aspects of WAN management, including configuration, deployment, and monitoring, to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- WAN setup Requirements definition: Lead the process of defining requirements per WAN connection type, both for general use and in specialized cases.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a senior network engineering role, with a focus on WAN technologies.
- Proven expertise in SD-WAN solutions (e.g., Aruba EdgeConnect, Cisco Viptela, VMware VeloCloud, Fortinet).
- In-depth knowledge of network security principles and experience with firewall and VPN technologies.
- Strong understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and traffic engineering.
- Industry certifications such as ACEX/ACEP, CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent.
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Very good level of English.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and mentor a team.
