Braive is one of the Nordic’s leading healthtech platforms, driven by a mission to make high-quality mental health treatment more accessible. We bring together clinical research, evidence-based methods, and emerging technologies to build a safe, effective, and scalable mental health platform that’s used by thousands of patients and clinicians every month.
With support from respected investors and customers across several markets, Braive is entering an energizing phase of growth – in 2026 we expect to more than triple the number of people who access mental health through our platform, all while maintaining high clinical safety and efficacy.
You’ll join a mission-focused team of engineers, designers, product leaders, and psychologists working side-by-side to shape the future of mental-health care.
What you’ll do
As Braive’s lead designer, you’ll own the design strategy across our entire mental health platform. Working closely with engineers, PMs, and psychologists, you’ll lead design processes from research to execution and support the development of elegant, intuitive product experiences.
Leveraging your product design experience, you'll play a key role in researching, validating, and ultimately designing Braive's next product development investments. You will help raise usability and accessibility standards while defining the interaction patterns relied on daily by clinicians and patients. This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on building the design foundation for a rapidly scaling healthtech product.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead design strategy and execution for the full Braive ecosystem (clinician- and patient-facing platforms)
- Drive early-stage product discovery and validation by engaging internal and external stakeholders to identify (and design) Braive's next product development investments
- Collaborate closely with PMs, engineers, and psychologists to translate customer/user requirements into intuitive, safe, and effective product experiences.
- Own all design materials (incl. prototypes, and specifications) and documentation
- Alongside your engineering colleagues, design, build, and evolve Braive’s design system and component libraries across our patient- and clinician-facing platforms
- Serve as the central design voice in cross-functional decisions and customer meetings, guiding design quality and advocating for user-centered processes.
- 4+ years of well-rounded product design experience working with digital, high-complexity software products
- Experience with early-stage product discovery, incl. driving necessary research and validation independently as needed
- Strong fluency in Figma, design systems, prototyping, component libraries, and token-based design.
- Ability to work effectively as the sole full-time designer, balancing strategic design direction with hands-on execution.
- Strong collaboration skills with engineering, product, and clinical teams.
- Full professional fluency in English and Swedish
- The opportunity to work with technology that has a real impact on mental health
- A passionate, cross-functional team with high ambitions and great warmth
- Mental health day the last Friday of every month
- A cozy, well-organized office in Gamla Stan
- Competitive salary at market-rate level
Location: Stockholm (in-office 3-4 days per week)
Work authorization: Must be eligible to work in Sweden; no visa sponsorship available.
