The Role
We're seeking a Machine Learning Engineer / Data Scientist to lead our ML initiatives from ideation to production. You’ll design, train, and deploy models that power our at-home hormone test kits, predict symptoms and periods, and personalize the user experience inside our app. You will own the full ML workflow and deliver accurate, explainable, production-ready solutions for women’s health.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, train, deploy, and maintain ML models integrated into our mobile app
- Develop and train computer vision and object detection models for hormone test kits
- Build and train data-driven predictive models for symptoms, periods, and cycle insights
- Develop LLM applications and RAG pipelines
- Design experiments, validate approaches, and analyze results
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and science teams to translate insights into features
- Establish data pipelines, evaluation frameworks, and production monitoring
- Make pragmatic decisions between experimental approaches and scalable production solutions in a fast-paced startup environment
What You Bring
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning and software development, with models deployed to production
- MSc in Computer Science, Biomedical Data Science, Biostatistics, or related fields
- Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, FastAPI), SQL, and data warehouse architecture
- Experience training computer vision and object detection models
- Experience working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, etc.) and building RAG architectures
- Strong statistical foundation and understanding of software design principles for maintainable, scalable code
- Advanced image processing expertise
- Experience with Git, cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud), and remote-first collaboration
- Fluent English
