We are seeking a talented Fullstack Developer with a focus on mobile development for our partner, a company revolutionizing pet owner-veterinarian communication.
In this pivotal role, you will primarily focus on their B2C application for pet owners, driving the creation and enhancement of features such as seamless appointment booking, comprehensive pet profile management, and an exceptional in-app user experience. This is a hands-on position that demands a deep understanding of system architecture and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain the mobile application for pet owners using Flutter.
- Develop and enhance backend APIs using Python.
- Design and implement scalable application architecture.
- Integrate third-party services and payment systems.
- Utilize advanced tools like Cursor and other AI coding assistants to optimize
- development speed and efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with designers and the product team to deliver an outstanding UX.
- Actively participate in planning and technical decision-making, where your insights and opinions are highly valued.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in mobile or full-stack development.
- Demonstrated strong proficiency in Flutter and Python.
- Fluent in English communication, both written and verbal.
- Proven experience in building and integrating with REST APIs.
- A solid understanding of Git and version control practices.
- Basic experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
- pipelines.
- A clear grasp of software architecture principles and clean code methodologies.
- Comfortable and effective in a small, distributed team environment.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in e-commerce or payment gateway integrations (e.g. Chargebee,
- Stripe).
- Familiarity with cloud deployment platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or similar).
- Contributions to open-source projects or development of personal applications.
- An understanding of mobile User Experience (UX) and usability best practices.
