To achieve our ambitious growth goals, we are currently looking for an AI Engineer to support the Automation & Engineering Department.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and operationalize AI solutions across the entire lifecycle - from exploration and PoC to secure, compliant, and scalable enterprise deployment.
• Build and integrate AI agents, copilots, and automation components using Azure AI Services, Microsoft Foundry (Cloud & Local), Agent Framework, Semantic Kernel, GitHub Copilot, and MCP-based connectors.
• Engineer data-driven solutions leveraging Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, and distributed data-processing frameworks to support high-quality model inputs and reliable automation flows.
• Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), enterprise search patterns, model/tool orchestration, and vector-search–based extensions for business-critical use cases.
• Develop backend services and integrations in .NET/C#/Python, delivering robust APIs, microservices, and system connectors that seamlessly embed AI capabilities into UI’s ecosystem.
• Work hands-on with cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments supporting GPUs, containerized models, and secure infrastructure for agent operations.
• Apply MLOps and AIOps best practices: versioning, automated pipelines, CI/CD, telemetry, model drift detection, and performance evaluation.
• Ensure all AI solutions follow UI’s SSDLC, including SAST/DAST, threat modeling, AI governance guardrails, DORA-compliant documentation, and security risk assessment.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, architects, RPA teams, and business stakeholders to turn complex problems into measurable outcomes.
• Contribute to our internal AI Community, AI Ambassador initiatives, knowledge sharing, reusable patterns, and continuous innovation efforts.

Your skills and experience:

• Strong experience in AI engineering with a focus on building and operating AI/ML solutions in production - not just PoCs.
• Deep knowledge of the Azure ecosystem including Azure AI Services, Microsoft Foundry (Cloud & Local), Cognitive Services, Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, and cloud-native integration patterns.
• Hands-on expertise with Databricks (Spark, Python/Scala/SQL), large-scale data processing, Delta Lake, and data-pipeline engineering.
• Excellent software engineering skills, ideally .NET/C#, plus Python for agent/ML scenarios.
• Experience with RAG, vector search, embeddings, LLM orchestration, and AI agent patterns.
• Practical MLOps knowledge: CI/CD, automated training pipelines, testing strategies, monitoring, telemetry, and observability.
• Solid understanding of DevSecOps and SSDLC, including secure coding, SAST/DAST, threat modeling, and compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with regulatory environments such as DORA, EU AI Act, GDPR, ISO 27001, and financial-services risk controls - or strong commitment to learn quickly.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into AI-driven value and measurable impact.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
