Junior Cyber Security Analyst
Taskize is one of the most influential fintechs in pre- and post-trade automation, trusted by over 550 financial firms – custodian banks, buy-sides, broker-dealers and FMIs – across 88 countries.
The web-native Taskize collaboration and workflow platform is used by investment operations teams including securities settlements, corporate actions and collateral management. It drives operational efficiencies with tools that organise, track, and prioritise tasks and ultimately reduce risk, increase capacity and improve client service.
Taskize is owned by Euroclear, a leading global provider of Financial Market Infrastructure services.
The Role
This is a great opportunity for a talented, early-career applicant to join an innovative organisation with supportive and experienced colleagues and an environment conducive to “learning the ropes” and contributing across the board.
As a Junior Cyber Security Analyst, your mission is to ‘watch our back’ by continuously helping to define and improve all aspects of our environment and process security. Taskize is a remote-first organisation, so the company welcomes permanent remote working, however there will be an expectation to engage physically with your department and relevant teams on occasion.
An important part of the role is to work with all other parts of the organisation to improve our security measures. This includes ensuring we have the appropriate design for our cloud environment, development of our security architecture, maintaining RBAC and segregation of duties, and engaging in our security governance, risk, and compliance strategy to ensure compliance against ISO27001, SOC 2, NIST, and relevant frameworks.
The role involves many tools and facets of Cyber Security. We do not expect you to have mastered every tool or domain—what matters most is your curiosity, willingness to learn, and eagerness to grow.
You will report to the CISO as part of the Cyber Security department, and will also work alongside the Engineering team collaboratively, contributing at relevant stages of the development lifecycle—from concept to production deployment. You’ll gain exposure to all parts of our system and have the opportunity to be mentored, learn, grow and interact with teams across the organisation.
For this role, you will formally be an employee of Euroclear SA, but performing duties for Taskize, using Taskize equipment and credentials. You will functionally report to the CISO of Taskize, while formally reporting to a local manager in Euroclear SA who is set up in a similar fashion.
